Seahow will fabricate 2+2 units of PV800-10 tension moored ice buoys and VPU800-10 ice buoys to be installed in the Sea of Bothnia. These buoys represent the strongest type of ice buoys that can be used in very harsh environment; they are 800 mm in diameter and 10 m in length.
One of the buoys will be fitted with mounting for EKTA ice lantern. The lantern will be fitted with a tilt angle sensor to help roughly estimate the prevailing wind speed and wave height.
Meritaito deploys its domestic and international sales force and customer relationship management as a separate business team.

Meritaito Ltd and Lamor Corporation Ab have concluded an agreement whereby Lamor will acquire Meritaito’s oil spill response equipment operations marketed under the brand name SeaHow.
Thomas Erlund has started his work as SeaHow’s Senior Vice President on 8 January.
