Meritaito deploys its domestic and international sales force and customer relationship management as a separate business team. “Centralising the sales is part of Meritaito’s strategic renewal, and the reorganisation enables us to meet our customers’ needs more effectively than before. The members of our sales team have solid experience in all of Meritaito’s service fields”, explains Hannu Ylärinne, Meritaito’s CEO.
The sales and customer relationship officers of the new team are Seppo Virtanen, Kalle Rantala, Jouni Koivu, Kari Pohjola, Patrik Niskanen, Kalle Bask, Caius Grann and Thomas Erlund. Their responsibilities include the sales of all of Meritaito’s product service solutions to both current and future customers in Finland and internationally. Caius Grann’s assignments include the development of sales.
“Increasing importance of effectively managing customer relationships, and the need to also assimilate new digital technologies in the Meritaito business portfolio have led to fundamental changes in Meritaitos today's sales force , and therefore a we see it also important to appoint a customer relationship officer for each customer say´s Thomas Erlund SvP, who will be in charge of the business team.
The new sales team combines know-how from all of Meritaito’s product and service fields. These fields include, for example, buoys and spar buoys, waterway maintenance, use and maintenance of canals, hydraulic engineering, hydrographic surveying services, underwater examinations and waterway design services, waterway oil spill and environmental damage remediation services and other waterway consulting services.
